Lily loves to play hide-and-seek with her friend Ben. They run around the garden and find great hiding spots. One day, Lily gets an idea. She decides to hide in the closet and not tell Ben. Ben starts counting loudly, 'One, two, three...' Lily giggles, thinking she has found the perfect hiding spot.
Ben keeps counting until he reaches one hundred. 'Ready or not, here I come!' Ben shouts. He searches behind trees, under the bushes, and behind the swing. But he can't find Lily anywhere. He starts to feel sad and calls out, 'Lily, where are you?'
Inside the closet, Lily starts feeling guilty. She realizes she made a mistake by not telling Ben where she hid. Lily promises to herself that she will always be honest and never hide without telling the truth. She decides to come out and apologize to Ben.
The next day, Lily meets Ben outside. She walks up to him and says, 'I'm sorry, Ben. I should have told you where I was hiding yesterday. It wasn't fair.' Ben looks surprised but smiles. 'Thank you for apologizing, Lily,' he says. They forgive each other and decide to start playing together again.
From that day on, Lily keeps her promise to always be honest. She understands that hiding without telling the truth isn't fair to her friends. Lily learns that honesty is the best policy, and it makes her feel good inside.
