In a small cozy room, Mia was snuggled up with her favorite teddy bear, Mr. Hugs.

Outside, the wind whooshed, and Mia heard it say, 'Whoo-whoo! Let's play!'

But Mia felt scared. She hugged Mr. Hugs tight and whispered, 'Stay with me tonight.'

Suddenly, Mia's room glowed with a warm light, and Mr. Hugs smiled, 'All is right.'

'Why so blue, little Mia?' asked Mr. Hugs in a tender voice filled with care.

Mia replied, 'The wind is loud, and I'm all alone. It's all so frightening.'

'You're never alone,' said Mr. Hugs. 'Imagine a hug as cozy as a snug bug rug.'

So they played a game! Mia imagined a hug that was soft, a hug that was big, and a hug that calmed.

'Now imagine that hug is from someone you love. Who would it be?' Mr. Hugs asked gently.

Mia closed her eyes. She saw her family's smiling faces, and felt their warm, loving embraces.

When Mia opened her eyes, the wind seemed a friend, saying 'Whoo-whoo! Our play has no end!'

Mia giggled and knew that with love in her heart, even a windy night could be a fresh start.
