Alex woke up with a bounce and a wiggle. Today, he felt a tingle, and it made him giggle. His dog Ziggy wagged his tail, so fast it could sail.
“Where will you go, Alex? What adventures await?” asked Mom with a wink and a plate. “To the Unknown World!” Alex declared with glee. Ziggy barked, “Ruff ruff!” and they raced to the sea.
The waves whispered secrets and the sand tickled toes. Alex and Ziggy found a treasure chest with golden bows! “Open it, open it!” cheered Alex with delight. Out popped a map, glowing bright!
“The Quest of the Unknown! Oh, what a thrill!” said Alex, eyes wide, with a will. The map danced and twirled, showing the path. Ziggy barked, “Ruff ruff!” and they shared a laugh.
Through forests so green, with trees that could talk, they marched with courage, no time to balk. “Beware of the Sneaky Snail!” a parrot squawked. “Slow but slippery,” it warned as they walked.
The Sneaky Snail slid softly, its shell a rainbow hue. It spoke in riddles, answered by few. Ziggy sniffed, “Ruff ruff!” Alex puzzled with his mind, together they solved it – teamwork combined!
Next was the Meadow of Mirth, flowers giggling all the day. They met Lionel the Lion, whose mane was like hay. “To the Unknown World, you must hop and skip!” he roared, and they followed his tip.
Over hills and valleys, they sung a merry tune. The sky glittered with stars, even though it was noon. The Moon popped down and said with a twinkle, “Follow the path, don’t let your nose wrinkle!”
At last, they reached a door, so tall and so wide. A sign above read, 'Take a step inside!' With hearts full of wonder and eyes open wide, Alex and Ziggy crossed to the other side.
Inside the Unknown World, magic swirled all around. Trees sang, rivers danced and joy did abound. “This world is for explorers, it’s as clear as can be. But the real Unknown World lies in you and me!”
After many adventures, it was time to go home. Alex knew, no more did he roam. Ziggy wagged his tail, barked “Ruff ruff!” with cheer. They flew back to Mom, their adventures clear.
Mom hugged Alex tight and kissed his nose. “Welcome back, my heroes,” she said with a prose. And as night fell, under stars so bright, Alex dreamed of Unknown Worlds, till morning light.
