Once upon a time, in a peaceful little village, there was an old house standing at the edge of town. Everyone said the house was haunted because at night, strange sounds would creep out from its dark windows.
All the villagers were afraid of the old house. They would walk quickly past it, even during the day. But there was one brave boy named Amir who wasn't scared at all.
Amir had sparkling eyes and always wore a big, friendly smile. One evening, as the sun set, he stood in front of the house, ready to find out what was really inside.
He stepped inside and the door creaked loudly. The house was full of dusty furniture and cobwebs. Suddenly, a cat jumped out and meowed, making Amir laugh.
As Amir explored, he heard the noises that scared the villagers—it was just the wind whistling and the old wooden floors groaning.
He found an old, dusty book and wiped it clean. It was full of stories about being kind and doing good things for others. Amir realized this was the true treasure of the house.
Amir left the house with the book and told everyone that there was nothing to be scared of. From then on, he would read the stories to the village children, teaching them about bravery and kindness.
