Aria was excited for her first day at Sky Blue Elementary. She wore her favorite rainbow dress and sparkly shoes.
At school, Aria met Mrs. Lee, her teacher, who had a bright smile and a gentle voice.
She looked around and saw many new faces. Some kids had glasses, some had braces, and some had hats.
Aria sat next to Lily, who had curly hair and a big, colorful headband. 'I love your band!' Aria said.
During playtime, Aria noticed a boy sitting alone. His name was Ben, and he had a leg brace.
Aria walked over to Ben. 'Hi, I'm Aria. Do you want to play with us?' she asked with a smile.
Ben looked up and nodded. Together they played with blocks, building tall towers and laughing.
Later, Mrs. Lee told a story about how everyone is unique, like the different flowers in a garden.
Aria thought about the story. 'Like Ben's brace and Lily’s headband?' she asked. Mrs. Lee nodded.
Mrs. Lee explained how differences make the world beautiful and everyone should be kind to one another.
At lunch, Aria invited Ben and Lily to sit with her. They shared their snacks and stories.
After school, Aria said goodbye to her new friends. 'See you tomorrow!' she called out, already looking forward to another day.
