Once upon a sunny day, a boy named Arthit, lively in his way, lived with his buffalo, Jao-Dum, who was two years old, headstrong, and bold.
Jao-Dum was a stubborn one, not liking work, no not for fun. Arthit tried and tried in vain; oh how he wished his buffalo'd wane.
Arthit's father said, 'Be kind, you see, patience and love will set you free. Show Jao-Dum a little care, and soon you both will make a pair.'
With grass and water, sweet yet cool, Arthit spoke with kindest rule. 'Dear Jao-Dum, please help me now; together we'll plow, you and this plow'
Jao-Dum munched and swished his tail, feeling love prevail. With a gentle nudge and a hearty round, Jao-Dum plowed the fertile ground.
Soon Arthit and Jao-Dum found their groove, no longer did one the other reprove. But what’s this? An adventure in sight, into the woods under stars so bright.
They ventured deep where shadows crept, where magical creatures slyly leapt. Arthit’s heart was full of cheer, 'Jao-Dum, let's go, let’s conquer fear!'
With leaves that rustled soft as silk, they met an owl, wise as a quilk. 'Hoo-hoo! Follow the path, stay on track, and you’ll find magic, not a lack.'
On they went through twist and turn, past bubbling brooks and fern. They found a river, wide and bright, reflecting the moon’s silvery light.
Arthit said with a playful grin, 'We’ve come far, my sturdy twin. Let’s rest here, beneath the stars, and continue when daylight spars.'
In the morning, fresh and new, they rose with warmth from golden dew. Ready for more they walked ahead, with Jao-Dum’s cares and worries shed.
Through woods and fields, their hearts did zing; they'd found the joy that kindness brings. Friends forever, come what may, under the bright or cloudy day.
