Once upon a time in a muddy marsh, Axel the axolotl wanted to scoot. He found a shiny scooter and tried to go, but he wobbled and tumbled with a 'wheee!' and a 'whoa!'
Sally the snail watched and said with a snicker, 'You need practice, Axel, just a little flicker!' Axel tried again, zooming by with a 'zip' and a 'zoom', but then crashed with a 'crash' and a 'boom!'
Axel didn't give up, oh no, not yet! He practiced and practiced, getting better, you bet! With a 'swish' and a 'sway', he swerved all around, feeling so happy, not on the ground!
The frogs and the fiddler crabs joined in on the fun, they hopped and clicked and giggled as one. Axel the axolotl was learning to scoot, with a 'wee' and a 'woo' and a 'toot toot toot!'
As the sun started to set on the marshy scene, Axel felt so proud, his scooter so keen. He waved to his friends, who cheered and hollered, 'Way to go, Axel! You're a super scoot-a-lot-er!'
With a happy heart and a tired little yawn, Axel the axolotl scooted to bed and was gone. But in his dreams, he soared and he glided, with a 'whoosh' and a 'whoop' in a scooter race excited.
And so, my dear friend, the scooting tale ends, with Axel the axolotl and his scooter friends. So if you ever see them, give them a cheer, for Axel the axolotl, the super scoot-a-lot-er, is here!
