Aya and Zandi lived in Harare, Zimbabwe. They were 5-year-old twin sisters. Aya was naughty and funny, while Zandi was quiet and calculated. One day, their Aunt Thoko called them from Cape Town to invite them for her graduation. She was becoming a Doctor, but not a medical doctor. Aya and Zandi were very excited. They had never been on a plane before!
The big day arrived, and Aya and Zandi got on the plane. As the plane took off, Aya couldn't stop laughing at how her tummy tickled. Zandi calmly looked out the window, mesmerized by the view. They were both amazed by the clouds and the tiny houses below.
When they landed in Cape Town, Aunt Thoko was waiting for them at the airport. She hugged them tight and told them how proud she was. Aya and Zandi couldn't wait to see the beautiful city. Aunt Thoko took them to Table Mountain, where they used their superpowers to climb to the top!
From the top of Table Mountain, Aya and Zandi could see the whole city. Aya started jumping around, pretending she could fly. Zandi smiled and said, 'Aya, let's use our superpowers for good.' They decided to help the people of Cape Town by cleaning up the parks and planting new flowers.
Next, Aunt Thoko took them to the beach. Aya couldn't resist making funny sandcastles and splashing in the water. Zandi quietly collected seashells and built a sandcastle so tall that it reached the sky! They had so much fun playing together and laughing.
On another day, Aunt Thoko brought them to a hospital. Aya thought they were going to visit sick people, but Aunt Thoko explained she was graduating as a Doctor of Psychology. Aya laughed and said, 'You mean you're a doctor of brains?' They all giggled, and Aunt Thoko promised to help people's minds feel happy and strong.
During their stay, Aya and Zandi visited a penguin colony. Aya made funny faces at the penguins, and they waddled after her just to see what she would do next. Zandi quietly observed the penguins and learned about their habits and how they lived. They both loved the cute penguins!
The time came to say goodbye to Cape Town, but Aya and Zandi knew the memories would stay with them forever. Aunt Thoko hugged them tightly and told them how proud she was of their caring and funny personalities. They got on the plane again, this time with bigger smiles and beautiful memories in their hearts.
