In a jungle so lush, where trees grew tall, lived a baby lion named Leo, who was very small. Today was the day, his first in the wild, with eyes full of wonder, a curious child.
Leo woke with a yawn, stretching his paws, heard the rustle and hustle, of jungle's grand laws. “Good morning!” he roared, and the jungle replied, with echoes and chirps from creatures outside.
He met a monkey named Max, who swung from a vine, with a cheeky grin and eyes that did shine. “Come join me, little Leo, let's swing through the trees, we'll laugh and we'll play in the warm jungle breeze!”
Through branches and leaves, they swung left and right, with Max hooting loudly, and Leo in delight. “This is amazing!” Leo shouted with glee, “I never knew flying could feel so free!”
Next, they met Ellie, an elephant so grand, with ears big and floppy, who offered her hand. “Join me in a splash, in the cool river blue, we'll trumpet and spray, make a hullabaloo!”
Splash, splash, went Leo, through water so clear, with Ellie's loud trumpets, ringing in his ear. They played and they laughed, in the river so wide, with water shimmering in the sunlight's bright glide.
Onward they went, till they heard a small hum, from a colorful bird, named Polly the Plum. “Let's sing a sweet tune, with melody so bright, under the stars, we'll sing through the night!”
They chirped and they sang, till the day turned to night, with stars twinkling above, a beautiful sight. Leo felt happy, his heart full of cheer, for friends made today, his adventures held dear.
As night softly whispered, and moonlight did shine, Leo snuggled in close, feeling perfectly fine. “Today was a day like no other, it's true. With friends by my side, the jungle feels new.”
He closed his eyes slowly, with the promise of more, more adventures, more laughter, on this jungle floor. “Thank you, dear jungle, for this first day delight, with dreams of tomorrow, goodnight and sleep tight.”
And as Leo dreamed, the jungle Crooned low, With a lullaby breeze that began to blow. For in the heart of the jungle where adventure is bright, there's always magic waiting, just after first light.
