Bella bounced like a blueberry, bursting with excitement. Today was the day, her very first dance class!
Her heart went thump-thump, thump-thump, like a tiny drum solo in her chest.
She twirled and whirled, her sparkly tutu a swirly, twirly dream.
Mom helped her tie her ballet shoes, pink and shiny like seashells.
"Don't be nervous, Bella," Mom said, her voice warm and soothing like sunshine. "Just have fun!"
Bella skipped to the car, her tutu boinging with every hop.
At the dance studio, music spilled out the door, a happy, twinkly tune.
Inside, other children giggled and twirled, a kaleidoscope of colors and motion.
A kind lady with a smile as bright as a sunflower greeted them.
"Welcome to dance class, Bella! I'm Miss Lily," she chirped.
Bella's tummy did a nervous flip-flop. It was time to dance!
Miss Lily showed them how to plié and point, skip and twirl.
Bella watched, her eyes wide as saucers, soaking it all in.
Soon, it was Bella's turn.
She took a deep breath and...stepped on a stray grape!
"Whoops!" giggled Bella, slipping and sliding.
The other children giggled too. It was okay to make mistakes!
Miss Lily helped her up, her smile still bright.
"Even dancers slip sometimes," she winked.
Bella giggled again, feeling braver already.
She pointed her toes and twirled, imagining she was a graceful swan.
She skipped and swayed, feeling the music move through her like magic.
It didn't matter if she wasn't perfect. Dancing was fun!
By the end of class, Bella was beaming.
She learned new steps, made new friends, and discovered the joy of dance.
As she skipped out of the studio, tutu bouncing, Bella knew one thing for sure...
She couldn't wait for next week's dance class!
