Bika the bunny loved nothing more than big balloons. Every morning, she hopped out of bed, bounced down the stairs, and sang cheerfully, 'Balloons, balloons, up to the moon!'
One sunny day, Bika found a gigantic, shiny blue balloon tied to her mailbox. 'Wow!' she gasped. 'This balloon is as big as a boom, it can take me to the moon!'
Bika grabbed the balloon's string and it started to lift her off the ground. 'Wheeeee!' she squealed as she floated higher and higher.
She floated past the treetops, higher than the rooftops. The world below got smaller and looked like a toy town.
Bika floated into a fluffy, white cloud. 'Hello, Cloud! Can you tell me the way to the moon?' she asked politely.
The cloud puffed, 'Whoosh! Follow the stars, they’ll take you far!' Bika giggled and thanked the cloud.
Higher and higher, Bika went, chasing twinkling stars. Up here, the sky was a deep blue blanket with shiny, silver stars sewn into it.
Suddenly, Bika heard a soft 'buzz.' A friendly firefly fluttered by. 'Where are you going, little bunny?' the firefly asked.
Bika replied, 'To the moon! My balloon and I are on an adventure!' The firefly’s light flickered happily.
'Can I come too?' the firefly asked. Bika nodded with glee. Together, they climbed higher toward the glowing moon.
Finally, they reached the moon. It was a fluffy, glowing orb covered in glowing blue cheese. Bika and the firefly wiggled their whiskers in delight.
They nibbled on moon cheese and sang, 'Balloons, balloons, up to the moon!' Their adventure had just begun.
