Every morning, Alex put on his bright yellow backpack and stepped out, ready for school.

On his way, he walked past Mr. Jensen's barking dog, but Alex knew he was friendly.

Crossing the street, Alex waited for the green walking sign. Safety first!

At the corner, he saw some kids arguing. 'Why don't you talk it out?' he suggested.

During recess, a ball whizzed by. Alex ducked! 'Always stay alert,' he reminded himself.

Playing tag, he noticed his friend fall down. 'Are you okay?' Alex asked, helping him up.

In the cafeteria, Alex saw someone alone. 'Want to join us?' he invited with a smile.

The fire drill rang loudly! Alex stayed calm and followed the teacher outside in line.

On the way home, Alex's friend got scared by a bug. 'It's just an ant,' he explained.

Near his house, he saw people running. 'What's happening?' It was just a street race.

Back home, Mom asked, 'How was your day?' Alex grinned, 'It was an adventure!'

As night fell, Alex reflected on his day. 'I learned, helped, and was brave,' he thought.
