Chloe's Courageous Day
Aso Lototele o Chloe
Once upon a time, in a sunny playground, there was a young girl named Chloe. She loved to watch the other kids play. Sa fiafia o ia e matamata i isi tamaiti o taaalo.
But whenever Chloe tried to join in, her tummy would twist into knots, and she would sit quietly again.
One morning, Chloe saw a lonely new girl sitting on a bench. She looked around and realized no one was talking to her. I se tasi taeao, na vaaia ai e Chloe se teineitiiti fou nofo toatasi o saofai i luga o se nofoa umi. Sa tilotilo solo o ia ma iloa ai e leai se isi o talanoa mai ia te ia.
Chloe remembered how she felt when she was new and wished someone would have said hello to her.
Taking a deep breath, Chloe walked over and smiled at the new girl. 'Hi, I'm Chloe! Want to play with me?' she asked. 'Talofa, o a'u o Chloe! E te fia taaalo ma a'u?' o lana fesili lea.
The girl's face lit up with a smile. 'Yes, I'd love to! I'm Zoe,' she said. And just like that, they started to play. Na susulu foliga o le teine i le ataata. 'Ioe, ou te fiafia lava! O a'u o Zoe,' o lana tala lea.
As they played, Chloe realized that her tummy knots had disappeared, and she was having a lot of fun.
The next day, Chloe saw some kids struggling to get a ball down from a tree. She wanted to help.
She had an idea and grabbed a stick. With a bit of effort, Chloe managed to poke the ball free.
The children cheered, and Chloe felt proud. She had helped all by herself!
Every day, Chloe tried something a little more daring. She spoke to more kids and even led a game.
Without even knowing it, Chloe's bravery was growing. She no longer watched from the sides; she was part of the fun.
