Once upon a time in a faraway kingdom, there lived a beautiful girl named Cinderella. She had golden hair and kind blue eyes. Cinderella lived with her wicked stepmother and two stepsisters in a small house by the woods. Her stepmother treated her unkindly, making Cinderella do all the house chores.

One day, an invitation arrived at their house. The King was hosting a grand ball, and every young lady in the kingdom was invited. Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters were thrilled, and they started preparing their outfits for the ball. But they didn't allow Cinderella to go because they thought she was not good enough.

As Cinderella finished her chores, she sat by the fireplace feeling lonely. Suddenly, a kind old lady appeared before her. It was her Fairy Godmother! The Fairy Godmother used her magic to transform a pumpkin into a beautiful, golden carriage, mouse into a coachman, lizards into horses, and Cinderella's ragged clothes into a breathtaking ball gown.

Cinderella couldn't believe her eyes. With a look of gratitude, she stepped into the carriage and headed to the ball. The Fairy Godmother warned her to be back before midnight, as the magic would only last until then.

At the ball, Cinderella danced gracefully and caught the attention of everyone, including the Prince. They danced together all night, and Cinderella felt like she was in a dream. But as the clock ticked closer to midnight, she suddenly remembered what her Fairy Godmother had said. In a hurry, Cinderella rushed out of the palace, leaving behind a glass slipper.

The next day, the Prince declared that he would marry the girl whose foot fit into the glass slipper. Every young lady in the kingdom tried, but none could wear it. Cinderella's stepsisters also attempted, but their feet were too big. Then, Cinderella appeared, and her foot slipped perfectly into the glass slipper. The Prince immediately recognized her as the one he had danced with at the ball.
