One day, an invitation arrived at the cottage. The king was hosting a grand ball at the palace, and every young maiden in the kingdom was invited. Cinderella's stepsisters were thrilled and spent days preparing their gowns and hairstyles. Cinderella, on the other hand, was left with nothing to wear and no way to attend the ball.
