Page 1: Once upon a time, in Hilltop School, the final bell rang for the end of year exams. All the students in class 6A breathed a sigh of relief as they put down their pencils. Tomorrow was not just any day; it was the day of the Holi festival, the day when the sky would rain colors, and joy would be spread all around. The children chattered excitedly about the fun they would have the next day, playing with colors and splashing water. Priya, Jai, and Veer, the best of friends, made a plan to meet early in the morning to start the celebration together.
Page 2: Early morning on Holi, Priya woke up first. She was so excited she could barely eat her breakfast. She had laid out her old white clothes that would soon be covered with all the colors you could imagine. She heard a knock on the door. It was Jai and Veer, with their water guns, ready for action! Priya grabbed her own water gun and a big bag of colors. The three friends giggled and rushed outside, where many children were already smearing colors on each other and dancing to the cheerful music.
Page 3: The school playground was a rainbow of happiness. Children were everywhere, throwing powders of pink, green, blue, and yellow in the air. Teachers were with the kids too, laughing and getting painted with colors. Priya spotted her teacher, Mrs. Ahuja, and playfully threw some red powder her way. Mrs. Ahuja laughed and drew a purple streak on Priya's cheek in return. It was a day when everyone could let loose and be as silly as they wanted.
Page 4: Jai had brought a giant water balloon, and with a mischievous smile, he tossed it into the air. It flew over the heads of the children and splashed down in the middle, sprinkling water drops that shone like tiny rainbows in the sunlight. All the children cheered and started filling their own balloons, turning the ground into a puddle of colors and laughter.
Page 5: Veer had a different idea. He had brought his family's old drums. With a few beats, he got everyone's attention. He started playing a rhythm, and soon enough, a circle of kids began dancing around him. It was amazing to see all the different steps, twirls, and jumps as everyone moved to the beat, their colorful shadows dancing with them.
Page 6: As the sun climbed higher in the sky, the Holi party reached its peak with a contest for the 'Most Colorful Child'. Everyone was a vibrant splash of colors, like walking paintings. The judges had a tough time deciding, but in the end, it was little Anaya, covered from head to toe in a rainbow of colors, who won the title. She smiled proudly, holding her trophy which was just as colorful as she was.
Page 7: As the day turned to evening, the colors on their skins started to mix and the water fights grew calmer. Tired from all the playing, laughing, and dancing, the children sat together enjoying the sweet gujiyas and cool drinks. They watched the sun setting, leaving streaks of orange and pink across the sky, much like their own stained clothes. Priya, Jai, and Veer hugged, promising to make every Holi just as special as this one. And with hearts as full as their bellies, they started dreaming about next year's celebration.
