Once upon a time, in a cozy little neighborhood, there lived a playful dog named Daze. Daze was a Belgian shepherd mixed with lots of energy. She had beautiful brown fur and twinkling eyes that were always full of excitement. Daze loved playing with her toys and exploring the world around her. But there was one thing about Daze that made it hard for her to make friends - her big bark! Whenever Daze saw someone new, she would let out a loud bark, which startled everyone. This made it difficult for Daze to communicate effectively and make new friends.
One day, while Daze was playing at the park, she noticed a group of children playing together. Daze got excited and wanted to join in the fun. But when she approached them and let out her big bark, the children got scared and ran away. Daze felt sad and realized that her big bark wasn't helping her make any friends.
Determined to make things right, Daze went to see Old Max, the wise dog in the neighborhood. Old Max was known for his clever advice. Daze explained her problem, and Old Max smiled and said, 'Daze, my dear pup, barking loudly may not be the best way to make friends. Instead, try wagging your tail and giving a friendly bark. That way, people will know you want to play and not scare them away.'
Daze took Old Max's advice to heart. The next day, when she saw some children playing in the park, she wagged her tail and let out a soft, friendly bark. The children turned around and smiled. They weren't scared anymore! Daze's heart filled with joy as she joined in their game. From that day on, Daze learned to use her big bark wisely and make friends with her gentle and friendly bark.
