Once upon a time, in a magical forest so bright, Lived Der kleine Igel, who loved the starlight. He waddled and pitter-pattered through the night, Hoping to catch a glimpse of the sparkling light.
In the midst of his search, he heard a soft, sweet sound, It was a chorus of crickets chirping all around. Guided by their symphony, he skipped and hopped, Until he reached the clearing where the starlight popped.
Suddenly, he saw something shimmering and bright, It was Sternenlicht, a friendly firefly, such a beautiful sight. With his wings all aglow, as if from wishes above, He danced around Der kleine Igel, spreading joy and love.
They giggled and played, as friends often do, Der kleine Igel and Sternenlicht, a merry, magical two. They danced in circles, like a whirligig unfurled, Spinning and twirling, in a joyful, glowing swirl.
As the night grew late, Der kleine Igel gave a big yawn, He knew it was time for the starry dance to be gone. Sternenlicht whispered, 'Fear not, my dear friend, The stars are always with you, until the very end.'
Homeward bound, Der kleine Igel knew in his heart, That the starlight and friendship would never truly depart. So he curled up in his burrow, with a smile so bright, Dreaming of adventures in the starry, sparkling night.
And from that night on, Der kleine Igel found delight, In the shimmering starlight, so magnificently bright. With Sternenlicht in his heart, he slept oh so tight, In the magic of the forest, under the stars' guiding light.
