In a land not far away, Where dreams come out to play, There lived a little girl quite small, With determination standing tall. Every day she stepped outside, With a sparkle in her eyes so wide, She had a dream, oh so grand, To be the greatest swimmer in the land.
With a splash and a flutter, She'd dive in the water, Her little arms would paddle wild, As her dreams soared high, like a bird in the sky. Oh, determination was her guide, With every stroke, she felt the pride, She knew deep down, within her heart, That hard work and perseverance were a perfect art.
Through the ups and the downs, Through smiles and through frowns, She never gave up or lost her way, She knew it would all be worth it, someday. She challenged herself, stroke by stroke, And though sometimes it felt like a yoke, She pushed and pushed, never giving in, For determination, she knew, was the ultimate win.
Years went by and she grew, Her dreams, once small, now anew, From the local pool to the Olympics she strode, With determination in every step she showed. In the pool, she stood so tall, As flags waved and cheers did fall, She had reached her goal, her dream come true, All because of her determination through and through.
So remember, little one, as you grow, No matter what path life may bestow, With determination in your heart, You can conquer any challenge, right from the start.
