Once upon a time, there was a girl named Dilruba. She was 7 years old and she loved all kinds of pets. Dilruba had a big heart for animals, and her room was filled with toys of cats, dogs, bunnies, and even tiny hamsters. But she didn't have a real pet yet.

One sunny day, Dilruba's parents took her to a pet store called 'Paws and Claws'. As soon as she stepped inside, her eyes sparkled with excitement. There were furry kittens, playful puppies, and sweet mice in cages. But Dilruba wanted something special.

Then, Dilruba saw a beautiful fish tank filled with colorful fish swimming gracefully. But what caught her attention the most were two parakeets named Elsia and Annia. They had bright feathers of blue and green, just like the colors of the sky and trees. Their melodic chirping filled the store.

Dilruba whispered to her parents, 'Mom, Dad, can I bring Elsia and Annia home? They are so beautiful and their chirping is like music! Please!' Her parents saw the joy in her eyes and agreed. They adopted Elsia and Annia and brought them home to join the family.

Dilruba took good care of Elsia and Annia. She cleaned their cage, fed them yummy seeds, and played with them every day. The parakeets loved their new home and Dilruba's love and attention. They chirped happily and filled the house with their delightful songs.

As time passed, Dilruba's love for animals grew even more. She started volunteering at an animal shelter, helping cats and dogs find new families. Dilruba realized that all animals deserved love and care. She even dreamt of becoming a veterinarian one day.
