Dino the dinosaur was a daydreamer. Yes, a daydreamer! Even when the sun was shining bright, Dino would rather have his eyes closed, dreaming.
His mom would say, "Dino, dear, why the sleepy stare? It's time to roar and play, not drift away!"
"But Mom," Dino would sigh, "My dreams are so high! I fly with pterodactyls and swim with the ichthyosaurs!"
"That sounds fun!" Mom chuckled, "But real adventures are double the chuckle! Come on, let's go explore the jungle floor!"
Dino wasn't too sure. Real life couldn't be as fun as soaring with a dinosaur crew! Could it?
Dino reluctantly followed his mom. The jungle was alive with sounds - rustles, hums, and chirps! A bright butterfly fluttered past, tickling Dino's nose.
"See!" Mom chuckled. "Isn't it neat? Real life can be a real treat!"
Dino started to see. The colors! The smells! A little lizard winked at Dino, disappearing into a bush with a rustle and a wiggle.
Dino laughed. Maybe his mom was right! He raced after the lizard, giggling as he went. The jungle floor was more fun than he ever thought!
He met a family of turtles, munching on leaves. They told him stories of the river, full of slippery, slithery fish! Dino's eyes widened in wonder.
He played hide and seek with baby triceratops, their horns bumping playfully. Dino was having so much fun, he forgot all about his daytime dreams.
As the sun began to set, painting the sky in a hundred shades of orange and purple, Dino snuggled next to his mom.
"Mom, you were right," Dino whispered, "Real adventures are the best kind! But maybe... just a little dream before bed?"
