Once upon a time, in a vast sandy desert, lived a kind doctor named Pole. He wore a white coat and always carried a small bag filled with medical tools and water.
One scorching day, Doctor Pole spotted a small tent. Near it, an old man lay in the shade, looking very weak.
Doctor Pole rushed to the old man, whose face was wrinkled like the dry desert ground, and asked, 'Can I help you, sir?'
The old man whispered, 'Water...' Doctor Pole quickly gave him some water and watched the man sip slowly.
After a few minutes, the old man felt better. He told Doctor Pole that he got lost when looking for the famous desert flower.
Doctor Pole knew about the flower, which bloomed once every ten years. 'It's rare, but I can help you find it,' said Doctor Pole.
They journeyed together, following tracks left by desert animals. The sun was hot, but they shared stories to pass the time.
Finally, they saw something pink peeking out of the sand. 'The desert flower!' they both exclaimed in joy.
Doctor Pole and the old man admired the flower's beauty. 'You saved me and helped me reach my dream,' the old man smiled.
As the sun set, Doctor Pole and the old man walked back to the tent. The desert now seemed a friendlier place.
Back at the tent, Doctor Pole made sure the old man was okay. They had supper under the stars, the old man's spirits lifted.
From that day on, Doctor Pole was known as the doctor who not only healed the sick but also healed hearts by kindness.
