Dolly the baby doll sat on a small pink chair, with her shiny yellow hair with a bow to wear. Her friend Teddy, all fluffy and brown, helped her write homework before sunset town.
"Let's write and rhyme," said Dolly with a grin, "Homework will be fun with you, Teddy, my twin!" They scribbled and scrawled, with a swish and a swoop, making the words dance in a lively loop.
Suddenly, Dolly's mom opened the door, with a kind smile that Dolly adored. "Guess what, dear Dolly," she began to say, "There's news about Dad and it's happening today."
Dolly's mom's voice was gentle and calm, but her eyes were moist, not like the norm. "Your father has gone to a faraway place, where angels dance and stars embrace."
Dolly felt a tingling, down in her toes, her daddy's love was like a rose. Teddy held her tight, while the room was still, as if time itself had stopped, like a whimsical quill.
"Mom, where’s Daddy?" Dolly softly asked, her heart fluttered like a butterfly unmasked. "He’s now a star twinkling so bright, watching over you every day and night."
Teddy then spoke with a voice full of cheer, "Dolly, we’ll keep him in our hearts so near!" They hugged in silence, under the moon’s soft ray, knowing Love never really goes away.
That night the stars winked and sang a lullaby, as Dolly and Teddy snuggled side by side. Love sent moonbeams through the room, where hearts would heal and hopeful thoughts bloom.
In her dreams, Dolly saw Daddy, ever so kind, his laughter, his hugs, his goofy mind. They played in fields and danced on a cloud, feeling his presence felt so incredibly proud.
Morning came with a golden hue, and Dolly knew one thing true. Her Daddy’s love, like an endless sky, would always be there, never goodbye.
Dolly, with Teddy, faced homework anew, with Daddy’s love she always knew. For Daddy, now a star above, shines down on her with endless love.
So, they wrote and they giggled, with joy in the room, knowing Daddy watched from his celestial bloom. And in their hearts, forever a song, Daddy's love would always grow strong.
