Once upon a time in a cozy little nest, nestled among the greenest leaves of an old oak tree, lived a bright, young bird named Ellie. Ellie loved the mornings. Every day, she would wake up with the sun and sing the sweetest song to greet the new day.
Unlike her friends who liked to sleep in, Ellie was always the first to leave the nest. 'The early bird catches the worm!' she chirped cheerfully as she flapped her wings and soared into the blue sky on an adventure to find the yummiest worm for breakfast.
One morning, Ellie spotted a big, juicy worm right at the edge of the garden. She swooped down gracefully and picked it up with her little beak. 'I did it!' she exclaimed proudly. 'Being early sure has its yummy rewards!'
Suddenly, Leon the Lazy Owl hooted from his branch. 'Ellie, why do you always wake up so early? You could have stayed cozy in your nest like me.' Ellie giggled and replied, 'But Leon, I would miss the magic of the morning and the taste of the early worm!'
As Ellie shared her worm with a friendly ant, she explained, 'When I wake up early, I see the sun rise, hear the dew drop, and I get the best pick of worms before anyone else!' The ant nodded in agreement and thanked Ellie for the breakfast treat.
The next day, Leon decided to join Ellie. To his surprise, he enjoyed the cool breeze of early dawn and found a tasty mouse. 'You were right, Ellie! Early mornings are special,' Leon hooted with delight as they both enjoyed their breakfast.
From that day on, Ellie and Leon shared many early morning adventures, finding joy in the little things that come with waking up with the sun. The early bird catches the worm, and sometimes, she also makes a sleepy owl a very happy friend.
