Emily was walking to school one sunny morning when she heard a soft whimpering from the park.

She followed the sound and found a small, shivering puppy under a bush, with no collar to be seen.

Worried, Emily looked around for an owner, but the park was empty, except for the birds and squirrels.

She gently picked up the puppy and decided to take it to school, where she could ask for help.
