As Emily walked through the door, her mother greeted her with a big smile. 'I have a special surprise for Dad's birthday, and I need your help!', she exclaimed.

Emily's mom had laid out her cheerleading uniform on the bed. 'Let's get you ready!' she said cheerfully.

Once dressed, Emily looked at herself in the mirror. She felt a little shy in the short skirt but wanted to make her dad happy.

Emily felt strange in the new style but her mother assured her, 'It's just for the photos! Your dad will love it!'

They set up a backdrop and lights in the living room. 'Think of this like a fashion shoot!', her mom encouraged.

At first, Emily posed simply, with her pom-poms, smiling at the camera, feeling a little more excited.
