Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Sam and his father named Mr. Brown. They loved each other very much and did everything together.
One night, while Sam was sleeping, a scary monster appeared under his bed. It had big red eyes and sharp teeth!
Sam woke up in fear and called out for his dad. Mr. Brown rushed into the room and turned on the lights. He hugged Sam tightly and said, 'Don't worry, I'm here to protect you.'
With his dad by his side, Sam felt safe and confident. He said bravely, 'Monster, you can't scare me!'
The monster growled loudly, trying to frighten Sam. But Sam's confidence didn't waver. He held his dad's hand tight and said, 'I'm not afraid of you!'
Seeing Sam's bravery, the monster became smaller and less scary. It realized that Sam wasn't afraid anymore.
The monster spoke in a timid voice, 'I'm sorry for scaring you, Sam. I didn't mean to frighten you. Can we be friends?'
Sam smiled warmly and said, 'Of course we can be friends! But please don't scare me again, okay?' From that day on, Sam, his dad, and the monster became the best of friends.
