Once in a tiny riverside village, lived a baby hippo named Felix and his kind mother. Felix loved to splash and play in the shimmering blue river every day.
One sunny morning, Felix saw something strange. The river had stopped flowing! 'Oh, bother,' thought Felix, 'I must find out why the river is no longer singing its bubbly song.'
Felix trotted over to his wise friend, Ollie the owl. 'Hoo, hoo,' hooted Ollie, 'there's a mystery in the water.' 'Oh, what could it be?' asked Felix.
'To solve a riddle, we must think big and small, search high and low, and give it our all,' Ollie hooted wisely.
By the riverbank, Felix found his chatterbox friend, Timmy the turtle. Timmy said, 'Follow the river upstream, and you shall find what's stopping the gleam.'
Felix ventured upstream, meeting Lilly the leopard frog on a lily pad. 'Ribbit, ribbit,' called Lilly. 'The river’s path is blocked by something tall and gritty.'
Deeper into the forest, Felix saw tall trees and glowing flowers. The air shimmered with buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies.
At last, Felix came upon a beaver dam, robust and sturdy. 'Beaver buddies, why block the river?' asked Felix. 'We didn't know!' the beavers exclaimed.
Together they worked, with sticks and stones, humming happy tunes with cheerful groans. The beavers, Felix, and new friends, fixing the bend.
Splish, splash, the river flowed! It bubbled and sang, letting everyone know. Felix's village once again buzzed with life, oh what a sight!
'Thank you, Felix!' the animals cheered. Felix beamed with pride, solving the riddle by his side.
That night, under the starry sky so bright, Felix dreamed sweet dreams of rivers flowing forever right.
