The cute little baby elephant, named Fili, was traveling with his mom and dad for the first time on such a long journey.

This big trek was actually a journey that his family makes every year at this time of year, returning home after a few months.

He was looking forward to seeing new places and meeting new friends on this journey.

As they traveled through the forest, Fili noticed a lonely monkey sitting on a branch, looking sad.

Fili went over to the monkey and asked, 'Why are you sad?'

The monkey replied, 'I lost my family and I don't know how to find them.'

Fili and his parents decided to help the monkey. They searched high and low, through thick bushes and tall trees.

Finally, they found a group of monkeys playing in a clearing. The sad monkey's family was there too!

The sad monkey was grateful to Fili and his parents for their kindness. They all became good friends.
