Firefighter Dave was brave and bright, with a uniform that shone in the light. He knew how flames could spread and roar, so he taught the kids how to explore.
In a town where fireflies danced and flickered, Dave said, 'First, have a plan that's quicker! Know your exits, two at least, to escape fast from the fiery feast.'
Bells go clang and sirens sing, when there's smoke or a fiery ring. 'Crawl low under smoke, don't race or rush, and feel doors for heat, don't let a fire gush!'
Safety first when you toast that bread, never leave the kitchen with thoughts unread. 'Stop, Drop, and Roll' if you catch a flame, remember this trick and don't feel shame!
'In case of fire, don't be slow, to your meeting place, you must go. Stay outside, don't return; there's much to learn!' said Dave with a serious tone to show.
Firefighters are quick and keen, they wear bright red and look so pristine. They drive big trucks that sirens sing, with ladders and hoses, ready to spring!
Dave showed them gear from head to toe, helmets, and boots that always glow. 'We rescue folks, pets too, that's true, with dedication, through and through.'
He told of radios, ropes, and lights, tools that help them win the fights. 'We clear the smoke, find safest routes, and save the day while wearing our suits.'
A keening, squealing smoke alarm, warns of fire's harm and alarm. Dave said, 'Have a drill, practice your skill, stay calm, don’t kneel to panic's charm.'
'It’s our job, a noble one, to put out fires till there’s none. To help and serve every day, in every brave and heroic way,' declared Dave with pride.
Cozy homes with fireflies twinkling bright, Dave said, 'Be safe tonight. Remember the things we’ve done, and tomorrow we’ll have more fun!'
Firefighter Dave then dashed away, with a hearty, 'See you another day! In dreams you'll hear the clanging sound, of fire trucks coming 'round, safe and sound.'
