Flora the flamingo loved her sunny home by the pink lagoon.

She danced in the water and played with her friends every day.

One warm morning, Mama Flamingo had a surprise for Flora.

There was a new baby flamingo! Mama said, 'Meet your sister, Fifi.'

Fifi was small and had fluffy feathers. She chirped softly.

Flora felt a little shy. She had always been the only chick.

Mama said, 'Flora, you can teach Fifi to find the tastiest shrimp.'

Flora showed Fifi how to dip her beak in the water and catch shrimp.

Fifi tried and giggled when she caught her first shrimp!

Flora realized teaching Fifi was fun. 'Good job, Fifi!' she cheered.

They splashed and played, and soon became the best of friends.

Mama smiled. 'Now you have a sister and a new best friend, Flora.'
