Once upon a time, in a little village, there was a boy named Garbancito. He was small but clever and responsible. His parents trusted him and allowed him to run errands in the village.
Garbancito loved to help everyone. As he walked, he sang a little song so people could hear him coming.
One day, his father asked him to go to the fields to collect the ripe cabbages he had planted weeks before.
Garbancito happily agreed. He packed a small snack and set off to the fields, singing his little song along the way.
As he reached the fields, he was surprised to see that the cabbages had grown even bigger than he had imagined. He picked them carefully and packed them in a small basket.
On his way back, he noticed some elderly villagers struggling with their belongings. Without a second thought, Garbancito helped them carry their things all the way home.
When he got home, his parents were overjoyed to see the fresh cabbages and impressed by how he had helped the elderly villagers.
From that day on, Garbancito's status in the village grew even more, and he continued to be a beloved and helpful member of the community.
And as for his size, it didn't matter because the villagers saw that his heart was as big as anyone's, no matter how small he was.
