In a small village nestled in the hills, there was a cozy house with a red roof.
This was where Grandma Mallou lived. She had silver hair and warm, brown eyes.
Every morning, Grandma Mallou walked to the spice market. She loved the smell of fresh herbs.
She would greet Mr. Lemonakis, the old man who sold lemons, with a bright smile.
One sunny day, Grandma Mallou saw a little girl crying by the spice stall.
"Oh dear," said Grandma Mallou, “Why are you so sad, my child?"
"I lost my way home," sobbed the girl. Her eyes were filled with tears.
Grandma Mallou took the girl's hand and said, “Don’t worry. We will find your home.”
They walked through the village together, asking everyone if they knew the girl.
Finally, they met Mrs. Paprika. She exclaimed, “This is Maria! I know her mother!”
Mrs. Paprika took them to Maria’s house. Her mother was waiting anxiously at the door.
Maria’s mother thanked Grandma Mallou. Maria hugged her tightly. Everyone smiled.
