Once upon a time, in a beautiful bamboo forest, there lived a lazy panda named ぐーたら (Guta-ra) Panda. Guta-ra loved sleeping, eating bamboo leaves, and taking naps all day long. He was so lazy that he didn't have a job like the other animals in the forest. One sunny morning, as Guta-ra was lazily munching on some yummy bamboo, he overheard the birds chirping excitedly about a big adventure in the magical land of Panda Village. Curiosity piqued, Guta-ra asked the birds what the fuss was all about.

The birds told him that the Panda King had asked for a brave panda to go on a special mission to help save the forest from an evil monster. All the animals were scared, and none of them dared to step forward and offer their help. Guta-ra, although lazy, felt a sudden surge of bravery inside him. Without thinking twice, Guta-ra decided to take on the challenge and become the hero of Panda Village. He marched proudly towards the Panda King's palace. When he arrived, the King was surprised to see such a lazy panda offering help.

The Panda King explained that the evil monster was causing havoc in the forest, destroying trees, and scaring the other animals away. They needed someone brave and clever enough to outwit the monster and save their home. Guta-ra was excited and nervous at the same time. He knew he had to come up with a plan since he didn't have much physical strength. As he pondered, Guta-ra's eyes fell upon his favorite bamboo flute. Suddenly, an idea struck him!

That night, under the moonlit sky, Guta-ra started playing a melodious tune on his bamboo flute. The beautiful notes carried through the forest and reached the monster's lair. The monster, who had a love for music, couldn't resist the enchanting melody. As Guta-ra played, the monster came closer and closer to the soothing sound. When it finally reached Guta-ra, he started dancing to the rhythm, forgetting all about destruction. Guta-ra kept playing his flute, guiding the monster away from the forest towards a peaceful meadow.

The animals of Panda Village, who had been hiding all this time, joined Guta-ra in celebration. They cheered and thanked him for his bravery and cleverness. The Panda King was so impressed that he declared Guta-ra as the protector of the forest and named him the Royal Musician. From that day on, Guta-ra's job was to keep the forest safe by playing his magical flute whenever a threat appeared. The animals admired him, and Guta-ra's laziness was no longer seen as a weakness but as a unique gift that helped save their home time and again.
