Once in a sunny town, Jackson and Adelyn woke up early. It was a special day.
Jackson, just three, tried brushing his teeth all by himself. He was careful to get every tooth.
One-year-old Adelyn watched Jackson. She held her toothbrush, trying to copy her big brother.
They giggled and splashed, making a small mess, but cleaned up. 'We did it!' they cheered.
Next, dressing up was the task. Jackson chose a cool jacket. 'Matches my eyes!' he said proudly.
Adelyn struggled with her tiny socks. Jackson helped her. 'I've got you!' he encouraged.
Breakfast was a challenge with spoons and forks, but they ate without Mama's help.
After eating, they went to the garden. There, a small bird flapped on the ground.
The bird tried to fly but kept tumbling. 'It's like us,' said Jackson, 'learning new things.'
They decided not to touch, but cheer for the bird. 'Fly, little bird, fly!' they shouted.
With their cheers, the bird flapped harder. Suddenly, it soared up! 'Hooray!' the kids exclaimed.
They ran to tell Mama about their day. 'We did many things by ourselves!' Jackson beamed.
Mama hugged them tight, 'I am so proud of you both! You are my brave, big helpers!'
