Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a kind-hearted boy named Sam. Sam loved to help people and make them happy. One sunny day, he heard that Jesus was coming to their village.
Excited, Sam ran to the village square where Jesus was speaking to a crowd. Sam squeezed through the people and reached the front row just in time to hear Jesus talk about forgiveness.
After the speech, Sam saw a man rush forward with tears in his eyes. The man fell at Jesus' feet and begged for forgiveness. Sam was surprised that Jesus forgave the man without any hesitation.
Curiosity got the better of Sam, so he asked Jesus, 'Why did you forgive that man so easily? He made a big mistake!' Jesus smiled and said, 'Forgiving is like offering a helping hand to someone who has fallen. It brings joy and peace to both.'
Later that day, Sam saw a classmate accidentally break his favorite toy. Instead of getting angry, Sam remembered Jesus' words and forgave his friend. The classmate apologized, and they became even better friends than before.
The next day, Sam's older sister broke a vase while playing. Sam wasn't upset, and instead, he forgave her too. His sister was grateful for his kindness and promised to be more careful.
From that day on, Sam understood the power of forgiveness. He forgave others easily, just like Jesus did. And every time he forgave someone, he felt a warm, happy feeling inside.
The villagers saw how forgiving Sam was and wanted to be like him. Slowly, forgiveness spread throughout the village, making it a happier and more peaceful place to live.
And so, the village learned a valuable lesson from Jesus' visit and Sam's example – forgiveness is a gift that brings love and joy to everyone. They promised to carry this lesson in their hearts forever.
