One sunny day, Kennedy Cooley walked into the green, quiet forest. Birds chirped happily.
She loved animals and could talk to them with her mind. That was her secret power.
Suddenly, she heard a squirrel's cry. 'Help!' it said. 'The river is dirty and fish can't swim!'
Kennedy closed her eyes, speaking to the water. She felt sad for the scared fish.
Using her powers, she commanded the trash to rise. The river became clear and clean.
The fish cheered, 'Thank you, Kennedy!' and they swam around in joyous loops.
Next, a rabbit hopped to her, its brown eyes wide. 'The bushes have no berries!' it said.
Kennedy touched the bushes, whispering to them, and soon, bright berries grew aplenty.
The rabbit gathered the berries in its tiny paws, smiling. 'You're our hero,' it said.
As Kennedy ventured deeper, she met more animals with problems she could fix.
She mended birds' nests with care and planted seeds for trees that were rare.
Tired but happy, Kennedy knew she had done good. The forest was safe, as it should.
The animals gathered to cheer, 'Hooray for Kennedy, our forest's dear friend today!'
