Keroppi hopped around the lily pads. Penelope danced with joy. They giggled in the warm sun.
They found a shiny blue rock. Keroppi thought it was treasure. Penelope twirled it in her hand.
The rock suddenly rolled into the big pond. Keroppi jumped in, but the water was deep. Penelope worried.
Penelope picked a long twig. She carefully held it out to Keroppi. He used it to swim back. They made it.
They returned to the sunny meadow. Penelope hugged Keroppi. 'We make a great team,' she said with a smile.
