Our leaves take in carbon dioxide from the air and water from the ground. Then, with the help of sunlight, we turn them into glucose, which is our food! Isn't that incredible?'

Little Lily smiled, amazed by Larry's explanation. Larry continued, 'The sun helps us grow big and strong. It gives us energy to make oxygen for everyone to breathe. We leaves love sharing the fresh air with all the animals and humans who visit the forest.'

Larry decided to take Little Lily on a fun journey through the forest. They hopped from tree to tree and danced with the gentle breeze.
