In a little village, not far away, Lived a clever cat who loved to play. His boots were shiny, his hat was tall, He dreamed of adventures, big and small.
The cat was named Le Chat Botté, With a swish of a tail and a purr just so. He tipped his hat and looked around, 'An adventure awaits! Let's cover some ground!'
Off he went, with a skip and a hop, Leaping over hills, he didn't stop. Through the meadows green and wide, He found a rabbit who wanted to hide.
The rabbit quivered, looking quite shy, But Le Chat Botté said with a sigh, 'Don't be afraid, let's be friends, I'll protect you till the very end.'
In the woods they played all day, Chasing each other in the merry way. Suddenly they heard a roaring sound, And saw a dragon up from the ground.
The dragon grumbled, 'Who's in my wood? Leave now if you know what's good!' Le Chat Botté stood tall and proud, 'We're friends of the forest,' he said aloud.
'We'll make a deal, if you please, Don't hurt us, we'll bring treats and cheese.' The dragon laughed with a hearty roar, 'You have a deal, a promise for sure.'
Days turned to weeks, a friendship grew, With every treat, their bond was new. Le Chat Botté, the rabbit, and the dragon too, Became a merry, happy crew.
They traveled together, near and far, Beneath the moon and the shining star. Telling tales of courage bold, Their adventures were re-told.
Le Chat Botté's heart was filled with glee, His boots and hat were a sight to see. With friends so true, adventures grand, They explored each corner of the land.
In the quiet of the night, they'd dream, Of new journeys and a flowing stream. For Le Chat Botté knew deep inside, With good friends, joy will abide.
And so, my friend, let this story end, With Le Chat Botté as your new friend. For every adventure starts with a shoe, And a heart so brave and true.
