Lily loved to play outside. Every day, she put on her red boots and explored.

Near her home was a big, green forest. Lily thought it was full of magic.

One sunny morning, Lily met a boy named Jack. 'Want to explore together?' he asked.

In they went, laughing and playing. The forest was a playground for their adventure.

The deeper they went, the thicker the bushes grew. 'Look at that!' said Lily, pointing.

A sparkling stream flowed ahead. 'Let's jump on the stones!' Lily cheered.

But as Lily jumped, her foot slipped. With a splash, she fell into the water!

Jack reached out quickly. He grabbed her hand and pulled her up. 'Are you okay?' he asked.

Lily nodded, dripping wet but safe. 'Thank you, Jack,' she said, shivering.

They found their way back by following the stream. 'I'm glad you were with me,' Lily smiled.

As the houses came into view, they promised to be adventure buddies forever.

Back home, they said goodbye with a small peck. 'See you tomorrow for more adventures!' they exclaimed.
