In a cozy nest, high in a tree, Little Bird blinked open her eyes.
Today was the day. She would finally learn to fly.
Momma Bird chirped, 'Remember, flap your wings fast and strong!'
Little Bird edged to the nest's rim, heart thumping.
She spread her wings, leaped, and... Wobble! Flutter! Flop!
Back in the tree, Momma Bird soothed, 'It's okay, try again.'
Wind tickled her feathers. Little Bird took a deep breath.
One, two, three - she flapped harder. The ground pulled away!
Up she soared, over the treetops, laughing with the wind.
Momma Bird joined, and they danced in the sky together.
