Little boy Gavin was very excited because today was his first visit to the beach. He woke up early and wore his bright red swimsuit. Gavin's parents packed a big picnic basket with sandwiches, fruits, and juice. They all got into the car and drove to the beach.
When they arrived, Gavin couldn't believe his eyes! The beach was so big, and the sand was yellow and warm. He kicked off his sandals and ran towards the water. Gavin splashed and played in the waves. He built sandcastles with his bucket and shovel.
Gavin's parents helped him put on a colorful floatie. They all went for a swim together. Gavin laughed and giggled as he floated on the calm waves. They collected seashells and spotted colorful fish swimming in the clear water.
After swimming, Gavin felt hungry. They sat down on a big beach towel and enjoyed their delicious picnic. Gavin ate a juicy apple and a turkey sandwich. The sun was shining bright, and seagulls flew overhead. It was a perfect day at the beach.
Gavin's parents noticed that it was getting late, so they packed their things and said goodbye to the beach. On the way home, Gavin fell asleep in the car, dreaming about the fun he had. He knew that he would always cherish his first visit to the beach.
