Once upon a time, in a cozy nest by the pond, a little duckling woke up.

The duckling looked around. 'Where is Mommy?' it quacked softly, feeling alone.

With bravery, the duckling stepped out of the nest, searching for Mommy Duck.

Mr. Frog saw the duckling. 'Lost your mommy? Jump high to see further!'

The duckling jumped but couldn't spot Mommy. 'Thank you, Mr. Frog,' it quacked.

Next, the duckling met Mrs. Owl. 'Hoo-hoo, look for feathers on the path,' she advised.

The duckling found some feathers and followed them, hoping to find Mommy Duck.

A squirrel chattered from a tree. 'I saw your mommy by the weeping willow!'

The duckling raced past the flowers and the bees to the weeping willow.

There, under the willow, the little duckling finally found Mommy Duck!

'Mommy, I found you!' the duckling quacked with joy, running into her embrace.

Mommy Duck cuddled her little one. 'I'm here, my dear. Let's go home together.'
