Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. Her grandmother gave her a red hooded cape, which she loved to wear.
One day, Little Red Riding Hood's mother asked her to take some goodies to her grandmother, who lived in the woods. 'Be careful,' said her mother. 'Do not stray from the path.'
On her way to her grandmother's house, Little Red Riding Hood met a wolf. The wolf asked her where she was going, and Little Red Riding Hood innocently told him about her errand to her grandmother.
The wolf had a mischievous plan. He ran ahead of Little Red Riding Hood and arrived at her grandmother's house first. He disguised himself as the grandmother and waited for Little Red Riding Hood to arrive.
When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother's house, she was surprised to see her grandmother looking different. 'Why do you have such big eyes, Granny?' Little Red Riding Hood asked. 'The better to see you with, my dear,' replied the wolf.
Suspecting something was wrong, Little Red Riding Hood continued to ask questions. 'Why do you have such big ears, Granny?' she questioned. 'The better to hear you with, my dear,' replied the wolf.
Finally, Little Red Riding Hood asked, 'Why do you have such big teeth?' The wolf replied, 'The better to eat you with!' But just then, a woodcutter burst into the room and rescued Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother.
From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood never strayed from the path again. She learned the importance of listening to her mother's instructions and not talking to strangers.
