In a cottage so neat, with flowers on the wall, lived a girl named Red, happy and small.

Red's mom called out, 'Please pack a good treat, for Grandma is ill, and she needs something sweet.'

Red filled her basket with bread and some pies, and waved at her mom with big, happy eyes.

Skipping through woods, so lovely and green, Red saw many flowers, such a beautiful scene.

When all of a sudden, a wolf so sly, appeared on the path with a gleam in his eye.

'Where are you going, little girl in red?' the wolf asked with a grin, as Red tilted her head.

'I'm off to see Granny, she's feeling quite ill, with a basket of treats, that should fit the bill.'

The wolf thought, 'Hmm, that sounds so yummy. I'll dash to Granny's house and fill my tummy.'

Red reached the house, and to her surprise, the wolf was inside, Grandma in disguise!

But Red was so smart, she knew what to do, called out for the hunter, with bravery true.

The hunter burst in, with a loud, 'Boom Boom!' The wolf fled away, right out of the room.

'Oh, Grandma!' said Red, hugging her tight. 'Thank you, dear hunter, for setting things right!'
