Once upon a time, in a place where the sky was painted with the colors of dreams, there was a boy named Lucas. Lucas found himself in the Land of Infinite Dreams after his mom and dad decided they would live in different houses. He stood at the foot of a tall mountain that scratched the belly of the sky.
Lucas started climbing the mountain, each step a struggle, each breath a misty cloud in the cool air. He thought about how his life seemed harder since his parents were apart. But when he reached the top, he saw the world from a different view, wide and open. It was beautiful and full of possibilities.
Next, Lucas wandered into a dark, scary forest. The trees whispered secrets, and he felt alone. But as he kept walking, he made friends with talking animals who showed him that even in dark times, you can find kindness and laughter. They all giggled and shared stories, and the forest seemed less scary.
The forest cleared, and Lucas found a calm river that mirrored the stars above. Here, he met a wise old turtle who talked about letting go. 'Like the river flows, you must move forward, Lucas,' said the turtle. So he built a little boat out of twigs and leaves, and sailed on, feeling a bit lighter.
As he sailed, Lucas realized the river was taking him in circles. 'It's just like me,' he thought. 'I've been going in circles with my sad thoughts.' With that, he steered his little boat toward new waters, ready to think new, happier thoughts.
Time passed, and Lucas's journey brought many more lessons of love, friendship, and courage. Eventually, he knew it was time to go back to the real world. He closed his eyes, thought of his mom and dad, and when he opened them, he was back in his room, feeling brave and full of love.
That night, Lucas went to sleep in his own bed, knowing that his real adventure was beginning. He understood that home wasn't just a place, but a feeling of love that he carried in his heart, no matter where he was, or who he was with. And with dreams of the magical land, he drifted into sleep.
