Once upon a time, in a sunlit field, Lupo the wolf was feeling very hungry.
He looked around and saw Lana the lamb, grazing peacefully on the sweet grass.
Lupo thought about how easy it would be to catch the little lamb for his meal.
But as he watched her, Lupo saw how carefree and happy Lana seemed to be.
Lupo remembered his mother's words: 'Strength is for protection, not for harm.'
Conflicted, Lupo decided to approach Lana, who looked up but did not run away.
Surprisingly, Lana greeted Lupo with a smile. 'Hello, Lupo! Why so glum?' she asked.
Lupo shared his dilemma. Lana's eyes filled with empathy. 'You're not bad, Lupo,' she said.
Together, they came up with a plan to find food that didn't involve hurting anyone.
Lupo and Lana found berries and shared a meal. Lupo's respect for life grew that day.
From then on, Lupo vowed to protect Lana and all the creatures in their field.
Peace flourished in the field, and Lupo became known as a guardian, not a predator.
