Luvia sat on the porch, swinging her legs. 'I can't wait for summer!' she exclaimed.

Mom smiled. 'What's on your summer plan list, Luvia?'

Luvia thought hard. 'First, I want to learn to swim!'

Her big brother Alex laughed. 'I will teach you at the lake!'

Then Luvia said, 'I wish to plant a garden too.'

'We can plant tomatoes and carrots,' said Dad, joining in.

'I also want to read five books!' Luvia smiled, thinking of stories.

Mom nodded. 'The library's summer reading club will start soon.'

And last, Luvia wanted to learn to ride her new red bike.

Alex chimed in, 'I'll help you with that too. It'll be fun!'

With all these plans made, Luvia felt happy and excited.

She knew this would be the best summer with her family by her side.
