One sunny day, Michael walked into a green forest and couldn’t find his way back.
He sat on a stump, scared and sad, until a friendly squirrel scurried up.
‘Hello!’ chirped the squirrel. ‘I’m Sammy. Do you need help?’ Michael nodded, feeling hopeful.
Sammy led Michael to a clear stream, where a kind duck greeted them with a quack.
‘I’m Daphne,’ said the duck. ‘Let’s find your home together!’ Michael smiled for the first time.
They walked and talked, with birds tweeting and leaves rustling, until they saw a familiar path.
With the help of his new friends, Michael finally reached the edge of the forest.
Michael gave a big hug to Sammy and Daphne. ‘Thank you! Let's meet again!’ he said.
With a wave and a smile, Michael found his way back home, filled with tales of adventure.
